Bhubaneswar: At Lingaraj Temple, Bhubaneswar, during Maha Siva Ratri Celebration a sad incident happened tomorrow night during ceremony of Mahadipa lightening.
The Lingaraj Temple servitor who was lifting up the holy Mahadipa to the top of the Lingaraj Temple, in same time fell down and injured yesterday evening.
All the devotees crowd and temple servitor gathered one place and helped each other's to hospitalized the enjured servitor, as per source health condition was serious enjury, now converting to good condition.The servitor who fell down is said to be around 50-year-old.
After this incident, other servitor replaced to lift up holy Mahadipa to the top of the Lingaraj Temple, amid the chants of Har Har Mahadev, Om Namah Shivaya and and Hari Bol by thousands of devotees.
Till the filing of this report, it is not known under what circumstances the temple servitor fell from the wall of the Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
For this sad incident Maha Shivaratri holy Mahadipa lightening program delayed 40 munite at Lingaraj Temple.Mahadeepa was slated to be lifted atop the temple at 10 PM.
